Medical Daycare

Overview

The Medical Daycare Unit provides comprehensive outpatient cancer care. Patients seen in this clinic are treated for a range of cancers, including breast, colon, bowel and lung cancer. We also treat disorders of the blood. We offer many different types of treatment as necessitated by the cancer, including: chemotherapy, iron infusions, transfusions and others. Care is provided by an interprofessional team comprised of oncologists, nurses, social workers, a pharmacist and a dietitian, all of whom have expertise in providing care to cancer patients.
