Specimen Type / Requirements Container Type = Sterile Container Minimum Volume = 5mL Urine
Specimen Handling Collection Instructions: Collect 5-10 mL random urine sample in a sterile container. Includes Cocaine metabolite, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Opiates, Amphetamines, Oxycodone, Cannabinoids and Fentanyl. Please see other tests in the LC-MS/MS library which are included in our urine toxicology screen. Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label or requisition. Laboratory Staff Instructions: Centrifuge all urine samples before analysis. Samples should be within the normal physiological pH range of 5-8. Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled, leaky or samples of non-sufficient quantity. Stability: Sample is stable for 2 weeks at 2-8°C and frozen indefinitely. Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible.
