We have a number of specialty clinics to manage patients with various heart rhythm problems. Patients may be seen by a nurse practitioner, electrophysiology fellow or medical resident at the time of their clinic visit.
Arrhythmia clinic
This is a clinic for patients with different types of heart rhythm problems to provide treatment options for their arrhythmia.

Atrial Fibrillation clinic
This clinic is led by a nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner works closely with one of the six electrophysiologists scheduled in clinic on a weekly basis. Patients receive educational materials and treatment options for atrial fibrillation. Contact info

Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device (CIED)
This clinic is for patients who may need an implantable cardioverter defribrillator (ICD) or pacemaker. During the clinic visit, patients are seen by a nurse practitioner with one of the electrophysiologists to provide an opinion regarding the need to implant an ICD or pacemaker.

ICD Clinic
This clinic is for patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). Patients come to the clinic on a regular schedule. During the clinic visit, patients are seen by nurses, device technologists, a nurse practitioner and/or an electrophysiologist to make sure the defibrillator is working properly. Contact info

Pacemaker Clinic
This clinic is for:
Patients with pacemakers or ILRs will come to the clinic on a regular schedule. During the clinic visit, patients are seen by nurses, device technologists, a nurse practitioner and/or an electrophysiologist. They will make sure the pacemaker is working properly. Referral form (45 kb pdf file) |
