At St. Michael’s, we recognize the need to provide space to students to help you study, eat and relax. We offer many different areas to meet your needs.

Scotiabank Health Sciences Library

Located on the third floor of Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, the Scotiabank Health Sciences Library supports students by providing them with study space, and clinical and non-clinical literature resources.
Computer Labs

Computer Labs

Located next to the library on the third floor of Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, students have 24/7 access to this space.
Student Resource Centre

Student Resource Centre

Opened in May 2013, the Student Resource Centre offers all students of St. Michael’s a private space to be able to eat, relax and socialize. It offers a quiet room, computers, phones, a kitchenette and free popcorn! It is accessible via the Shuter North elevators and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Food and beverages

St. Michael’s offers a variety of options for food and drinks. In addition to the options within the hospital, Starbucks and Subway are located on the main floor of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute.

Starbucks is open weekdays from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Subway is open weekdays from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Lockers

Lockers are available depending on student type. Please speak with your education coordinator when you register with our office and they can direct you appropriately. You will need to supply your own lock.
