Dr. Patricia O’Campo is a social epidemiologist and researcher who has been working with inner city communities for over 20 years.
Her research is focused on how residential neighbourhoods can affect adult mental health and children’s well-being. Dr. O’Campo is also an expert on the use of innovative research methods, like “concept mapping” and “realist review,” to identify solutions to help women and children who are suffering abuse. Dr. O’Campo is the Chair in Intersectoral Solutions to Urban Health Problems, and co-lead of CRICH’s ACHIEVE Research Partnership, CRICH’s post-doctoral training program.
