Our studies look at the facilitators and barriers to services that commonly affect people with severe mental health and addictions issues, and assess their specific care needs.
We focus on informing and evaluating targeted mental health interventions that are most likely to meet the needs of vulnerable groups, such as community-based mental health care services and supportive housing. We’re also working to better understand the links between neighbourhood features and residents’ chronic stress, depression and child behavioural problems.
