Volunteering is…the opportunity to give back to your community, to learn new skills, to meet new friends and to explore different experiences.

St. Michael's Hospital is a world-renowned academic health science centre situated in the heart of downtown Toronto. St. Michael's plays a key role in local, regional and national healthcare by meeting the complex needs of patients with our highly specialized programs.

In addition to patient care, the Hospital also has a strong focus in two additional key areas of heathcare: educating the health care professionals of tomorrow and creating new knowledge through research.

Volunteers at St. Michael's form an important part of the hospital's team. Volunteers compliment and enhance the patient experience by contributing in meaningful and significant ways to the day- to-day lives of our patients and families.
