Leica TCS SL Confocal Microscope | Bio-Rad Confocal Microscope | Nikon TE300 Microscope | Nikon E800 Microscope | Leica AS LMD Laser microdisection system
The BioRad Radiance is an upright confocal system attached to a Nikon E800 fluorescent microscope. It has three lasers, and uses a single excitation fire wire fiber. There is also a transmitted light imaging capability with a photo-diode detector.
Each laser has a separate confocal aperture. High spectral separation of simultaneous multi-channel imaging is achieved by the use of an AOTF – acousto-optical tunable filter.
The system uses Laser Sharp image acquisition and analysis program to captures images, display multichannel merged images, and produces 3D visualization of Z-series. Data is exported standard 2D and 3D image display formats.
