At the AHRC we strive to adopt a culture of privacy in our activities and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the information we use for research projects. This is reflected in:
New staff joining the AHRC will participate in a "Information Privacy and Security" session given by the Privacy Officer of SMH, where relevant information from the Ontario's Privacy Legislation PHIPA (Personal Health Information Protection Act) is reviewed.
On an annual basis all employees are required to read and sign a Privacy and Confidentiality Agreement.
