The AHRC is a full service, academic, clinical research coordination centre. We work with academic researchers and commercial investigators, Governments, not for profit research organizations, and other for profit and not for profit companies.
Located within the Keenan Research Centre at the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute of St. Michael's and fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, the AHRC has access to a world class teaching hospital, state of the art research facilities, and one of the world's best medical schools. This combination enables us to serve the exacting needs of the academic and commercial clinical research communities.
One of the AHRC`s key success factors is the strength of its partners. The AHRC is owned by St. Michael`s Hospital. It operates out of the Keenan Research Centre within the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute. These relationships underscore the AHRC’s credibility as a medical science research organization and are structured to protect AHRC's need for academic freedom and the confidentiality of clients’ work.
