To facilitate research and development, St. Michael's Hospital provides a basic research agreement template (81 KB doc file) for use in research collaborations with industry.

In order to negotiate the terms of a basic research agreement, please contact Karen Moss at MossK@smh.toronto.on.ca or Tina Coccia at CocciaT@smh.toronto.on.ca as early in the process as possible.

Please note that research and development agreements should not incorporate clinical trials into the terms. Instead, a clinical research agreement should be entered into separately.
