Support / Professional Services

Midwifery

Midwives work as part of the obstetrical healthcare team. Women with low-risk pregnancies may choose to seek midwifery care. Midwifery services include:

• Prenatal care from conception through birth.
• Attendance at birth either in the home or in the Hospital.
• Care of the newborn and mother for the first six weeks following the birth.
