Women's Health

Midwives work as part of the obstetrical healthcare team. Women with low-risk pregnancies may choose to seek midwifery care. Midwifery services include:

Prenatal care from conception through birth.
Attendance at birth either in the home or in the Hospital.
Care of the newborn and mother for the first six weeks following the birth.
