The division of respirology strives for excellence in patient care as it relates to respiratory medicine by staying current with clinical practice guidelines and medical treatment strategies, supporting and conducting quality research, participating and promoting staff and student education and delivering care through a collaborative and comprehensive team approach.

Our highly active centre offers specialized services that include:

Many subspecialty outpatient clinics.
Diagnostic services including a pulmonary function laboratory and sleep disorder laboratory.
A 15-bed inpatient ward for patients with unique respiratory problems for intensive investigation and medical care management. We are equipped to treat such respiratory problems as obstructive, restrictive, infectious, inflammatory, malignant, occupational, sleep-disordered breathing, cystic fibrosis and more.
