Vascular Access Program

The Vascular Access Program is dedicated to the study of optimal management of access for hemodialysis in accordance with best practices. Strong clinical and academic programs support our research and quality outcome initiatives.

Key components of the program include

  • clinical evaluations

The St. Michael's Hospital Annual Vascular Access Symposium took place on May 1-2, 2008 at the Toronto Marriott Bloor/ Yorkville Hotel
in Toronto. Dr. S. Donnelly and Rosa Marticorena RN of St. Michael's Hospital Nephrology Team, spearheaded the Provincial vascular access initiative of the MoH-LTC to address best vascular access practices in Ontario.
