Dr. Evelyn Rozenblyum, Courtesy

Dr. Evelyn Rozenblyum is a general pediatrician, pediatric rheumatologist, and assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto. Dr. Rozenblyum completed her pediatric residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2015. Since then, she has worked across Canada at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary and McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton. Now, she is cross-appointed through the Department of Pediatrics and Rheumatology at St. Michael’s Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. Dr. Rozenblyum practices general pediatrics in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and has outpatient pediatrics consultation clinics at Sumac Creek Health Center, and St. Lawrence Family Health Centre.

Her research interests are in transition of patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis from pediatric to adult care. She is interested in developing a new clinic to look after these individuals. She is also interested in babies born to mothers with rheumatic diseases, and neonatal lupus. She is currently postgraduate medical education lead through St. Michael’s Hospital, supervising and evaluating residents, along with developing new curriculum. Her current educational interests include developing a mobile app for the Resident’s Guide to Pediatric Rheumatology educational manual.
