Dr. Jillian Baker, Active Primary Pediatric Hematology, Neonatology

Dr. Baker is based at St. Michael's Hospital where she practices pediatric hematology, adolescent/young adult hematology and general pediatrics. She also has a clinic in general pediatric hematology at the Hospital for Sick Children one day per week.

Dr. Baker is an assistant professor and clinician teacher in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. 

Dr. Baker completed a B.Sc. at McGill University followed by an MD degree as well as a pediatrics residency at the University of Calgary. She then completed fellowships in pediatric hematology-oncology and research at The Hospital for Sick Children, as well as an M.Sc. in clinical epidemiology at the University of Toronto. 

Her research interests include neonatal hematology (such as rhesus hemolytic disease of the newborn and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia) and models of care for AYA hematology patients (such as using text message reminders).
