interview (approximately 60 per cent) and the
application package (approximately 40 per cent).
- About 40 to 60 per cent of applicants are selected for interviews.
- The interview environment is relaxed and friendly.
- Interviews are conducted in person. Conference calls are used
when travel is either not practical or too expensive.

internship program. For example: self direction, problem solving,
leadership, people skills, communication, time management, teamwork,
ability to work under pressure, self evaluation, ethics and ability
to think and act in pressured situations.
- Some questions address knowledge base in key content areas.
- Candidates should have thought about the dietetic internship program
in relation to their goals.
- Interviewees are invited to ask questions.
