The combined master of science (M.Sc.) dietetic internship program is a joint program of St. Michael’s Hospital and the department of nutritional sciences at the University of Toronto. The goal of the program is to train individuals to become dietetic practitioners with advanced research skills. The combined program is based on the existing graduate dietetic internship program offered at the hospital and the university’s M.Sc. program.
Upon completion of a shortened (35 week) dietetic internship practicum, students enter the M.Sc. program, which offers graduate level course work and supervised research training with an emphasis on the research project and thesis.
