Collection Instructions: Body fluid collected in red top vacutainer or sterile orange cap container. Indicate source of fluid

Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label.

Stability: Chloride is stable at room temperature for 24 h, refrigerated for 1 week and frozen at -15 to -20°C OR colder for 6 months.

Laboratory Staff Instructions: Centrifuge to remove cellular material.

Sample Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled, leaking specimens and/or non sufficient quantity (Not Sufficient Quantity)
