Container Type = Small Sterile Container

Minimum Volume = 10g Feces sample

Specimen Handling

Collection Instructions: Collect Faeces sample in a sterile container. If refrigerated, specimen must be received Mon - Wednesday within 48 hours of collection.

Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label.

Laboratory Staff Instructions: Send specimen in a screw-capped plastic container. Do not add preservative. Store and send frozen.

Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled or samples of non sufficient quantity.

Stability: Stable for 5 days Refrigerated and 1 month frozen.

Transportation: Send sample to core lab as soon as possible.
