Specimen Handling

Collection Instructions: Random urine collected in red top vacutainer or sterile urine container

Write your initials, date and time of collection on the collection label.

Stability: Stable for 24Hrs at room temperature or refrigerated.

Transportation: Transport at room temperature ASAP. Place on ice if time of collection to time sample get to lab exceeds 2hrs

Laboratory Staff Instructions: Make an aliquot and Spin Sample

Sample Rejection Criteria: Unlabeled, leaking and/or non sufficient quantity (Not Sufficient Quantity) will be rejected
