Angiography > Exams & Procedures > Aortic Stent Graft

Is the placement of a stent graft in the abdominal aorta aneurysm via a catheter from the groin area. This is done in the angiography suite with the anaesthetist, the vascular surgeon and the interventional radiologist.

It is normal to spend the night in the ICU (intensive care unit) for close observation after the procedure. This procedure can take several hours and is done similar to an abdominal angiogram.
