Smoking cessation program
Are you interested in quitting smoking? We are here to help!
Our Smoking Cessation Clinic provides smoking cessation therapy for patients of the family health team and support to help you “butt out”!
What services are provided in the Smoking Cessation Clinic?
You will be seen by either a nurse practitioner, registered nurse or other specialized counsellors on a regular basis, every four weeks until you meet your desired goal.
Group therapy sessions (workshops/drop in support)
We offer a monthly smoking cessation workshop that helps you understand more about smoking, how to cut back and/or quit, and different quitting options and strategies to help you on your journey to success.
We offer a drop-in program every two weeks in group sessions, run by specialized smoking cessation counsellors, on a variety of topics to help you with your quitting process and to remain smoke free.
