Diabetes Care Centre (DCC)
Individual appointments with nurse educators, dietitians, social workers and pharmacists are available for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and for those with impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance.
We offer the following classes and programs:
- healthy living with diabetes
- blood pressure and cholesterol
- foot care
- pattern management for Type 1
- pattern management for Type 2
- a healthy balance
- twelve-week weight management group program for Type 2
- smoking cessation
- insulin pump therapy
- support group
No referral is needed to attend DCC or its classes. Register for a class
