Diabetes Care Centre (DCC)

Individual appointments with nurse educators, dietitians, social workers and pharmacists are available for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, and for those with impaired fasting glucose and impaired glucose tolerance.

We offer the following classes and programs:

  • healthy living with diabetes
  • blood pressure and cholesterol
  • foot care
  • pattern management for Type 1
  • pattern management for Type 2
  • a healthy balance
  • twelve-week weight management group program for Type 2
  • smoking cessation
  • insulin pump therapy
  • support group

No referral is needed to attend DCC or its classes. Register for a class today!
