Perspectives of Beauty - Our 2008 Fundraising Calendar

Our members have completed the artwork for our ninth annual fundraising calendar. The 2008 calendar, Perspectives of Beauty, features a high-quality professional design, and all proceeds from sales and sponsorships go directly back to the program and the people we serve. Calendars are $15 each and are available directly from Creative Works Studio (416-465-5711), from the St. Michael's Hospital Gift Shop, or by using the calendar order form (212 Kb pdf file).  Our 2007 calendar, which is on sale for $8.00 (includes PST and GST) is also available to order.

Calendar Sponsorship

All sponsors receive a charitable tax receipt for their contribution, our deepest gratitude, and recognition within the calendar project as follows:

  • Picture Patron $250 - Your logo on the sponsor-listing page, one calendar plus recognition at our calendar launch event. (Pays for acrylic paints and canvas for three months)
  • Sculpture Patron $500 - Your logo on the sponsor-listing page, five calendars plus recognition at our calendar launch event. (Your gift pays for silk screens, t-shirts and ink to create economic opportunities for members)
  • Mural Patron $1,000 - Your logo on the back cover, ten calendars, plus recognition at our calendar launch event. (Your gift pays for printing supplies for greeting cards, posters and stationary to create economic opportunities for members)
  • Installation Patron $2,500 - Your exclusive logo placement on one calendar month page, fifteen calendars, plus recognition at our calendar launch event. (Your gift facilitates three annual member art exhibitions that provide economic opportunities, public education and advocacy)
  • Creative Vision Patron $5,000 or more - Your logo on the calendar's cover, twenty calendars, plus banner recognition at our calendar launch event. (Your gift facilitates a total of 250 participant visits)

We produce over 1,000 calendars and we sell them through several channels such as the St. Michael's Hospital staff and gift shop, JVS Toronto's staff and their communities, through various cultural organizations in the City of Toronto, as well as venues in South Riverdale, and shops, bookstores or galleries in a variety of neighbourhoods, including Riverdale, the Danforth, the Beaches and the Annex.

Every aspect of the art, design, production, printing and distribution of the calendars happens through the generous contributions of our members, volunteers and valued supporters.
