Unity Health Toronto not impacted by recent food recall

Toronto, October 4, 2019

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recently recalled a number of meat-based products due to possible contamination. Unity Health Toronto is aware of the recall and has investigated to confirm there is no risk to anyone who has eaten food prepared across our network, based on how our food is prepared. The recalled products are no longer being used by Unity Health Toronto. For any questions, please contact our Patient Relations team at patientrelationssmh@unityhealth.to.
