Help guide St. Michaels future: Strategic Plan 2015-18

In the past year, the executive team decided to extend the 2011-13 strategic plan for an additional year in order to pursue a new process and outcome for strategic planning. Over the next few months, the planning team will be interested in hearing from everyone who has a stake in our organization, whether you’re a staff member, physician, donor or community partner. Everyone’s unique perspective, vision and ideas are going to help shape the hospital into the best that we can be.

St. Michael’s Hospital provides compassionate care to all who enter its doors. The hospital also provides outstanding medical education to future health care professionals in 27 academic disciplines. Critical care and trauma, heart disease, neurosurgery, diabetes, cancer care, care of the homeless and global health are among the hospital’s recognized areas of expertise. Through the Keenan Research Centre and the Li Ka Shing International Healthcare Education Centre, which make up the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, research and education at St. Michael's Hospital are recognized and make an impact around the world.
