St. Michael's research by the numbers

Research at St. Michael’s in the past five years has grown significantly.

In addition to the numbers below, notable successes since 2007-08 include: academic publications increasing by 72 per cent; a success rate of 30.8 per cent in the September 2011 CIHR funding competition, which is well above the national average of 17.5 per cent; and an increase of 30 per cent of our Canada Research Chairs Program allocation.
