St. Michael’s Patient and Family Learning Centre provides access to valid health resources for patients and their families, staff and physicians.

Resources

The centre has trained volunteers to assist you in finding health information. You can also drop in and search on your own.

Some of the services volunteers can help you with are:

  • Finding valid health resources online
  • Support searching though the pamphlet and book collection about your health-related questions
  • Requesting a custom information search by a health science information specialist

Accessibility

The Patient and Family Learning Centre is wheelchair accessible. A large font keyboard is available for clients with minor vision impairment and a mouse for clients with limited motor use. Headphones are available for clients with vision impairment and those who prefer to learn by listening.
