Performance Indicators - Patient Satisfaction

St. Michael's Hospital's wants to make sure that everyone who walks through our doors gets the best possible care. We regularly survey our patients to learn what they think about the care they receive with us. We track the results of these surveys and we are always trying to improve our services.

The data below shows the overall satisfaction of our inpatients and outpatients, and also includes those who visited our emergency room and those who had a day surgery at the Hospital.

Interpretation

The survey asks patients to rate the hospital on a scale of "Poor," "Fair," "Good," "Very Good" or "Excellent." The scores below show only the percentage of patients who rated the hospital as "Very Good" and "Excellent." Our data shows that our patients' satisfaction matches the high level of patient satisfaction in the province.
