The story of St. Michael's Hospital began in 1892 when the Sisters of St. Joseph established this hospital to help the people of Toronto who were in the midst of a diptheria epidemic.
The Hospital has evolved over time and now stands as a centre of innovation, a place of inspired teaching and research and outstanding health care. Many things have changed, but St. Michael's continues to be the place that all Torontonians can look to when they need help.
Many of you have stories of the care you've received at our Hospital. We encourage you to take a few moments and share them with us. More than anything else, your stories will help others appreciate what a difference St. Michael's Hospital makes. Your stories can inspire others and are a wonderful way to say thank you to the many people who work hard every day to advance care at the Hospital.
Please take a few minutes to read the stories of patients that are on the following pages. Then take a moment or two to fill out the attached form and share your story with us.
Thank you.
