Endowments
Endowed gifts are major donations given to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation. The funds are invested and the income produced annually goes into the work of the Hospital. The principal itself is never spent, so it continues to fund necessary health care requirements year after year. Large endowments can be named in honour of you or your family.

Audrey Giles is a long-time donor to the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation and is a committed hospital volunteer. "During my time volunteering, I have seen what a well knit and caring organization St. Michael's is," she says. "The Hospital's passion for caring and ongoing advancements in research and technology is why I made the decision to establish the M. Audrey Giles Endowment Fund. By making ongoing contributions to this endowment, the principal is invested and the interest earnings can be used immediately by the Hospital to support areas of greatest need, year after year."
