Registration & Orientation

Registering with St. Michael's Student Centre

All students are asked to contact their university or college for initial registration and placement/rotation coordination prior to registering with the Student Centre.

Health discipline related placements are negotiated between the clinical educator at St. Michael's Hospital and the program coordinator at your academic site. To have a placement/rotation at St. Michael’s, an affiliation agreement must be in place.

Once your placement/rotation is confirmed, report to the Student Centre for registration with St. Michael’s. The Student Centre is located at 2 Queen St. East, Manulife Building, Suite 913.

       During registration, students will be given an ID badge, clinical software access and orientation material.

      Please complete and bring these forms with you when you register:

• Student Centre Registration Form
• Privacy and Confidentiality Form
• Code of Conduct Form

   
      Registration tips

• All students will be required to present valid proof of an up-to-date mask fitting. Without valid proof of mask fitting, students will be asked to have a fit testing done before registering.
• Medical residents and clinical fellows must bring their Confirmation of Registration from the U of T POWER website. Without it, you cannot be registered.
• Undergraduate elective medical students need to present a printed confirmation of their rotation when they register.
• Nursing students and Health Discipline students need to present completed WSIB forms.
