Postgraduate Medical Education Committee
Formed in September 2006, the PGMEC committee meets to discuss issues pertaining to administration of educational activities for Residents and Clinical Fellows at St. Michael’s Hospital.
It also provides a venue for transmission of information from the resident advisory council (CORE) to the rotation coordinators at the hospital. The committee is guided in its activities by relevant policies, procedures and agreements adopted by St. Michael’s Hospital, the University of Toronto, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, The College of Family Physicians of Canada, and the PAIRO-CAHO agreement.
