Street Health works to improve the health and well being of homeless and underhoused individuals in southeast Toronto by addressing the social determinants of health through programs, services, research, education, and advocacy.

Street Health engages in community-based research on the social determinants of health among individuals living in poverty and/or experiencing homelessness. Street Health conducts research that is locally relevant with the goal of generating evidence to reduce health inequalities of marginalized individuals through advocacy and education. In addition, Street Health continually evaluates the programs and services offered by the organization. These programs and services relate to street nursing, harm reduction, mental health support and case management, crisis support for seniors, violence prevention for women involved in the sex industry, and identification replacement and storage.
