Not everyone in Canada can access the health care they need. Barriers like lack of transportation, language issues, and discrimination can keep low-income groups from accessing and benefiting from our universal health care system. At CRICH, we measure whether health care is delivered equitably or not, and we evaluate how well health care services work for inner city populations. We also develop tools to make health data more accessible to decision-makers, informing targeted health care responses to a range of health issues. |
