Knowledge Exchange Workshops
Faculty and trainees meet policy-makers and community agencies involved at the intersections of health care and social services in Ontario. These events are different from typical research seminars or policy forums because the first half of the session is devoted to formal or informal presentations by decision makers to identify priority issues and concerns, past experiences working with researchers, perspectives on utilizing research and related topics. CRICH scientists and students then make presentations on areas of expertise, current programs of research and new findings. The primary purpose of these events is to build relationships with stakeholders and create opportunities for future one-on-one knowledge exchange.
